And of course there will be plenty of help with straight forward OBEDIENCE.
  We would like to have simple classes on "How to show your dog" how to get your dog to stack for you, How to get your dog to move the best, to help show you what the judges are looking for. We will even go so far as to hold a MOCK conformation ring to get the pups used to what they will have to do in a real show.

Bon Fires:
The biggest point of the Working day, is to give you a reason to take the dog out, have some fun, and spend time hanging with friends and work your dog at the same time. 

& BEER:
Well that just goes without saying,  Bring what you think you can drink.

Please be advised:
There are a precious few trees here at the house.
Be sure to bring whatever you will need to care for your animals.  Think of this like show rules, crate your dogs, think about shade. The last thing I want is to cook someone's dog in a car on a hot July day.
 

From DIXON:
               From Interstate 88 take Hwy 26 north to Hwy 52/38 turn right (East)
               Take Hwy 38 East out of town,

You will go past: Sink Hollow Rd, Maples Rd, Nachusa Rd, Robins Rd & Detour Rd.

               About 30 Yds past Detour Rd. you will turn Left (North) on Twist Rd. Twist Rd will TWIST around and go Through some woods, past an old brown barn (Grist Mill) Over a bridge & through some more woods,

              Once you get out of the woods take the second drive way on the Left. Big Two story house  about 1000' off the Rd.

From ROCKFORD:
            Take Rt. 2 south through Byron & Oregon

             After going through Grand Detour & over the Rock River you will look for a Left turn lane onto Lost Nation Rd.

              Turn Left on Lost Nation Rd. and drive to the bottom of the hill take a right on Maples Rd. then an immediate left onto Naylor Rd. Look for Twist Rd. you will take a right on Twist Rd.

              Follow Twist Rd.  up and over the hill; at the bottom of the hill the Rd. will start to TWIST to the Right Take the second drive on the Right at the bottom of the hill.
