The first time I ever met John was in front of our Hotel the day before the 2003 Canada show. Tony Mancera and I were feeling all tired from our big drive from Northern Illinois, and up drives this white Dodge Durango with a Very up beat family inside, they asked if we were here for the dog show, and where are ya from? Illinois, we said, and you guys? Little Rock, Arkansas
Canada (like EVERY ABNA show in 2003) was a rainy mess, but that didn't keep these girls spirits down at all. They just played in the river that formed in the middle of the show grounds, and then when it did stop raining they just put on some dry clothes and kept on going.
