The Wiegand Family has been involved in the Bulldog world for about 6 years. Involved in working, hog catching, weight pulling, and showing some wonderful dogs. We started breeding in 2001, in 2002 Kevin Quietly started the ABNA Data Base project, and was elected to the ABNA as a representative in Jan 2003, in Aug, 2003 at the Indiana show, Kevin was certified as an ABNA conformation Judge. The Wiegand family's contributions to the ABNA are flat out hard to miss. Kevin's implementation of the new ABNA Data Base has cut hours off of the show registration, and cut MONTHS off of the points listing presses, allowing the ABNA to post show points on the internet in a mater one to two days (a process that used to take several months) A working Data Base wouldn't do much good without the nimble fingers of Jamie Wiegand entering ALL 2000 dogs. If you went to either the Indiana 03 or the Butler Nationals 03 you probably saw Jamie keeping everything straight at the registration table. Rock Hound American Bulldogs is very much a small breeder, breeding only one to two litters a year, but every litter Kevin breeds is pure champion quality. As a judge Kevin wouldn't pick a dog that he wouldn't own, and as a breeder he wouldn't sell a dog that he wouldn't pick.
